Lowcountry Horology, LLC

32 Salkehatchie Rd

Yemassee, SC  29945

Lowcountry Horology provides the finest in service and repair for your fine clocks, pocketwatches, and wristwatches — specializing in antique timepieces that have been handed down from generation to generation and which require the utmost care and skill to maintain.  I have been tested and awarded credentials as a Watchmaker and Clockmaker by the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC) and will not accept a job that I cannot perform properly.  I’m proud to have my name associated with everything I work on and I unconditionally guarantee my work!

We have finished moving into a new building that we share with Barracks Antiques, an antique vendors mall. The shop is now open for business!

As a side note . . . the building we moved into has a long and valued history.  From 1930 until 1965 it served as the Marine Corp’s temporary barracks for all recruits arriving by train for Parris Island bootcamp.  Back then, all new recruits arrived at the Yemassee, SC, train depot before being forwarded on by another train or bus to boot camp.  If they arrived too late in the day they spent the night or weekend in the temporary barracks.  From ’30 till ’65 over half a million Marine recruits spent the night in our new Lowcountry Horology home!
