General Fields was visiting Yemassee during June to attend the naming of Interstate 95 Interchange #38 in his honor.  Without any prior warning, he took the time to visit a former Marine  (me) who now owns and works in a former Marine Receiving Barracks.   What an honor to stand with someone who made such an impact on my Marine Corps!
